About me
Between crumbling pubs and newborn lambs
I am a photographer and multimedia artist from Germany. I moved to the UK in 2017 for university and have now found my home away from home in Liverpool. Together with my partner, I experiment with analogue photography and photo development techniques. He has a great influence on my work and a lot of our work is shared. As a neurodivergent artist, I work a lot with neurodivergent children and young people to support them in their creativity and development. I have a keen interest in architecture and history and the changes that have happened to architecture and infrastructure in the UK in the last century. In my work, I want to highlight the beauty of places in England that are often dismissed as reactionary and the beauty of places that are marked for demolition, left to disintegrate or handed over to faceless corporations to be turned into student accommodation. I want to also highlight the persistence of the communities that breathe life into these places.
